Pizza was served promptly at 7:00. Getting there a few minutes early, I was pleased to see there were still a few slices left for me. While we dined the conversation slowly built up momentum. We began by comparing shoulder pains. Bursitis was the common diagnosis for everyone else’s pain. It seems we all knew someone, usually our father, who had bursitis when he was really old. Unfortunately, that “really old” occurred when we were really young. Most of those poor sufferers were our age when the affliction struck. On that cheery note we touched on a few other ailments, then moved on to more computer-related topics. Most of us use a software package these days to compute our income taxes. The most poplar, at lest with the Board Members, is Turbo Tax. Some of us like the way it pulls data from last year’s taxes, and from Quicken. Although I use both, I never can bring myself to trust the import from Quicken. Working with computers for a living has not caused me to trust implicitly |
