Meeting Date: 12/11/01 Time: 7:00 pm Location: Alan Mildwurm’s house Coming events: Alan reconfirmed that Microsoft will show us Windows XP at the January meeting. I feel I must take this opportunity to register a complaint. Due to my absence from the November board meeting, Ron was pressed to fill the tremendous void left in last month’s Diablo Blue by my inability to contribute the minutes. And he did a pretty fair job, for an editor. His description of coming events had me on the edge of my seat panting for more. But then, when it came to a simple matter of reporting facts… Well, let’s just say there’s room for a bit of improvement. I refer to the second and final paragraph of Ron’s “minutes”. I can not quarrel with his first sentence. I’m sure you’ll all agree it was 100% accurate: “Our secretary didn’t make the meeting, so these Board Meeting Minutes aren’t going to be any where as entertaining or informative as when they are actually penned by Mr. Tom.”. How true. But from there on out… |
