With holiday gift season encroaching upon us with unrelenting fervor, what better time to examine and evaluate the collective return policies from major national retailers? For this article, I excluded web purchases, as Internet buying invokes another set of circumstances (except for shipping issues and small print, the policies should remain comparable). Whether you’re on the receiving or giving end of computer related software or hardware this holiday season, it’s a prudent investment to know your return rights at prevailing retailers.
