Coming events:  Alan confirmed that Microsoft will show us Windows XP at the January meeting. In February we’ll have a speaker from the FBI talking about cyberterrorism — these should both be outstanding presentations!

No-Shows:  Our secretary didn’t make the meeting, so these Board Meeting Minutes aren’t going to be any where as entertaining or informative as when they are actually penned by Mr. Tom. And Ted didn’t arrive either — seems that he actually believed the notice on the Calendar page of the web site that implied that the Board meeting was going to be on the 13th. Well, maybe it actually showed that the meeting was going to be on the 13th. I guess the calendar mistake confused Ted, and he believed it, and that overrode the knowledge that Board meetings are held on the first Tuesday following the monthly meeting, like November 6th. Turns out that Ted did arrive at Alan’s house on the 13th, and had a friendly chat with Alan’s wife Ruth, and was sent on his way sans the knowledge and camaraderie and pizza of the actual Board meeting. Your editor promised to review the calendar more closely in the future.
